Netherfield House Press was founded by NHP Publisher Melissa Darnell in January 2010, and began with the acquisition of Darnell Spirit Productions, a publishing company dedicated to the cheerleading and dance markets since 2000. This acquisition combines updated titles from DSP's imprints with NHP's broader categories of fiction and nonfiction for additional markets, and makes them available in a larger selection of print and digital formats with a greatly expanded distribution program to reach as many readers as possible.

Netherfield House Press aims to provide readers with unique stories in their favorite subgenres of fiction from some of today's and tomorrow's most entertaining writers, as well as knowledgeable nonfiction in a variety of subjects by experts.

Online Marketer/Publicist: NHP is seeking an experienced online marketer/publicist. The ideal candidate will have proven experience at successfully promoting books online through a variety of methods (including social media), and will receive a sales commission on all NHP book sales during their tenure with our company. Book Cover Artist: NHP is seeking an experienced artist to create art for our fiction and nonfiction books. The ideal candidate will have several online examples demonstrating their ability to create a wide variety of artwork based upon client requests, and will receive a sales commission on their assigned books' sales.
